HOPE, Inc. A Task Force on Domestic Violence

HOPE, Inc., A Task Force on Domestic Violence is a private, non-profit agency that offers shelter and confidential supportive services to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence and their families. HOPE provides immediate, confidential help to any victim of sexual assault or domestic violence through a 24-hour hotline. Professional counseling and support are available at the shelter in Marion County or in one of the four outreach offices.

For those victims in unsafe situations, HOPE provides food, clothing and shelter in a safe and supportive environment. HOPE is licensed by the State of West Virginia and is accessible. Services such as transportation, relocation assistance, childcare, advocacy and support groups are provided. These services are available for shelter residents and victims in the community. HOPE offers a variety of programs designed to educate the public on issues related to sexual assault and domestic violence. Arrangements for programs or services may be made by contacting the office in your area.
